Welcome to another great day here at DZB . We have been away dealing with a lot of post lockdown issues and we are finally here with a fantastic piece of a review of the latest from The S.W.I.T.C.H alumni LECCOO. Let’s get into it.
LECCOO is popularly known as a spoken word artist whose poetry has opened quite a few doors for gospel inspired poets and his knack for social commentary has steadily grown an audience. On Dear Tanya , the artists transforms poetry into hip hop by adding hard hitting lyrics to an easy-going baseline thus creating a thought provoking masterpiece. He takes the role of a father giving advice to a girl child in the first verse by encouraging good morals and pointing out the dangers of peer pressure. The track is done in such a way that you forget the element of it being a bit didactic and enjoy the hip hop fused storytelling.
